The Odessa National Medical University, located in the port city of the Ukraine called Odessa and recognized in the Ukraine for its quality education. The university was set up in September 1, 1900 as a Novorossiysk University and continued to serve under the same name till 1922. During that period the university has paid utmost concentration towards the medical faculty in order to advance the medical education of the Ukraine. After the 1922, with the expansion in the medical faculty, classes and clinic, the university renamed to the Odessa medical institute at the world level. The university has gained principal popularity in the international student for the quality of education and thusly become the best university in the eastern and western Europe. The advancement of the medical faculty is continued with an aim to improve the medical education and deliver the quality doctors to the world and meanwhile following the freedom in 1993, the university accredited by the name Odessa state medical university and thereafter in 1997 the university achieved the national status and acknowledged to Odessa national medical university. The university is one of the oldest university and today running under the name of the Odessa state medical university, which has gained immense acceptance among international students for offering the entire MBBS course in the English medium and thereby is also acknowledged as the best medical university to study MBBS in Russia. Further, the university is also associated with the international association of medical universities for the high level of medical education and has influenced the students from the Europe, America, Asia countries. Till the date, more than 3000 Indian students have enrolled in the university to study MBBS is an evidence of the same.
